American Mirror

Derrick Spiva Jr.’s second album, American Mirror, was released in 2018. I was able to work with editing and co-producing the titular track with Salastina Music Society, as well as worked on recording, mixing, and co-producing From Here A Path, the second piece in the Prisms suite. I also mastered the album.

In|Expiration

In collaboration with Derrick Spiva Jr., I was given the opportunity to write music for Sheetal Ghandi's dance work. Here's an example:

An excerpt of the music I wrote for in|expiration by Sheetal Ghandi.

Super Ruwaxi: Origins

in 2014, I was given the chance to co-write an incredibly diverse score for Post Natyam Collective's Super Ruwaxi: Origins alongside Derrick Spiva, Jr. and Ravindra Deo. Here are some excerpts and alternate versions I wrote and produced:

"School Theme" - Contemplative and thought-provoking for background dialogue, escalating at the end.

"Attack!" - Alternate version to the show with traditional big-band instrumentation.

"The Nightmare" - The background to a deleted scene. Classic horror music.

Something I wrote for Super Ruwaxi: Origins that didn't quite make it in. Turn out the lights for this one!

"ID Man" - Mariachi-inspired theme music.

Mariachi theme for Super Ruwaxi; Origins.

"Bully"  - Catwalk/red carpet-style theme for generic use in fashion, etc.

Music used for Super Ruwaxi: Origins. The original edit before it was worked into the score.

Other Selections

These are exhibits of my various styles, and more will be added as I have time to complete them.

I Saw You There - D&B, guitar solo with electronic accompaniment. No pre-existing loops.

This is a soundscape I wrote several years ago, recently rearranged with new parts added.

Shades On - House-inspired with breakbeat elements. No pre-existing loops.

Something to bob your head to while driving.

The First - Looped drums with ambient textures.

Updated a few things. Trying a new piano sound, and remastered to be fuller. Enjoy!
